A feature-length film documenting the history of Langford, a small English village in rural Bedfordshire. Capturing the stories of local people and bringing back to life the contrasting Second World War tales of those who went off to fight and those they left behind.

About the event
‘Langford Tales’ will be shown in the main room of Langford Village Hall. The film is 2 hours long, and there will be an intermission in the middle. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the show.
As well as entry to the film, tickets include food and drinks which will be served during the intermission courtesy of Langford’s very own ‘Langford Hideaway’ (www.langfordhideaway.co.uk). Refreshments will include a drink and either a sweet or savoury snack - all homemade, fresh and delicious.
Tickets without refreshments are available - add code NOFOOD at checkout and the ticket price will be reduced to £10.
Seating is on standard hall chairs, and guests are welcome to bring a pillow or seat padding if they like.
‘Langford Tales’ is an English language film but is fully subtitled for the hard of hearing.
Parking is free at the Village Hall.
The venue will be cleaned before and after each showing and guests will be asked to sanitise their hands before entering. The room will be ventilated before and after each show. In the event of a change in Covid restrictions, screenings will be rescheduled to a later date. Please note that due to updated Covid recommendations, we request that guests wear a mask in the screenings.
