A feature-length film documenting the history of Langford, a small English village in rural Bedfordshire. Capturing the stories of local people and bringing back to life the contrasting Second World War tales of those who went off to fight and those they left behind.

About the event

‘Langford Tales’ will be shown in the main room of Langford Village Hall. The film is 2 hours long, and there will be an intermission in the middle.

As well as entry to the film, tickets include food and drinks which will be served during the intermission. Coffee, tea, mulled wine, and a selection of cakes and tarts will be available. 

‘Langford Tales’ is an English language film but is fully subtitled for the hard of hearing.

Parking is free at the Village Hall. Doors will open 15 minutes before the start of the film. Seating is on standard hall chairs, and guests are welcome to bring a pillow or seat padding if they like. Seating is not assigned so sit wherever is best for you. We have tried to ensure that all seats have a clear view and our excellent sound system ensures that everyone will fully experience the film - prepare to be immersed!
